As you can see this home’s snow guards were in distress and the slate had broken all around it causing leaks. If you look closely you can see that the gutters are bent and lopsided as well.

This chimney had metal flashing that was rusted and cracked all around where it meets the chimney and was causing water to easily get in there. The Yankee gutters were also leaking, through the seams and trapping water underneath.

This soffit was showing signs of rot and missing paint.

Originally this was a lead-coated plumbing vent that was showing signs of leakage into the home.

We repaired the roof by nailing in new slate, putting in a new copper gutter, and installing more visually pleasing copper snow guards to complement the rest of the home’s beauty.

We carefully dismembered the old metal and installed lead-coated copper flashing around the chimney then installed new Yankee gutters that we had customized to meet the unique design of the home.

We replaced the rotted wood and primed and painted the exterior to give it a brand-new clean look that matched the rest of the house.

We installed a new copper pipe covering and soldered all the joints to ensure it would be water tight and last for many years to come
